The -weight- of Christianity

Does Grace ever fight for us?

To many faith-filled christians today rate themselves on how well they are portraying or putting on display the Christian Faith, by failure or how many times they say the sinners prayer. I oppose this question to the wide world of bloggers – Is it possible to stumble under the pressures of the christianity, and your sacrifice carry the same value?

Even Jesus stumbled under the weight of his cross and a man from the country had to help the King of Kings carry his cross, in the defining moment of his purpose. On his way to save the world, Jesus fell under the weight of the cross. The man who was supposed to redeem the world, stumbled under the very object that he was going to die to.

BUT there was an unseen power and exchange of power taking place in the spiritual. Here we see Jesus embracing grace, now instead of carrying the Cross he just has to walk to the place where he was to fulfill his calling. Yet the value of his sacrifice remained. That is the picture of grace in the current day and realm.

Zech. 10:

“So I will strengthen them in the Lord, And they shall walk up and down in his name.”

I want to encourage anybody who seems to feel that christianity can be a suffering relationship instead of a benefiting religion, to keep pushing forward. The strength to walk is coming in the Name of Jesus. I want to challenge anybody who scans across these worlds to look forward to the Grace coming to you in the this current season.

Its the life I CHOSE – (an answer to those who always ask why!)

I work for an electric company – in a nutshell i serve project managers to they can get their work done on time – but in the midst of me serving them they ask – so i take out my headphones and answer the question – “so what is it your going to do in life, your obviously not a an electrician” – and i prepare to watch their face bend and twist as the words ” I AM GOING TO BE A PASTOR” leave the premise of my mouth – then as they look like they just took a bite out of a lemon and ask “why” – now at this point i can choose to impress and come up with some blown up answer along the lines of “well the god of the universe asked me to be one, ya know the one who controls the weather, placed stars, created life – ya that guy ask ME to help him out” (that answer seems to dwindle my serving opportunities by a great margin – but when the words “i just wanna help people” leave my mouth – they seem to run every cuss word they ever said in front of me, every crude statement – and they soon ask – “can you help ME?” –

Its those words that make me realize that what i am doing is way past myself – but God put me in a position where i am on construction sites all day long – serving guys that could care less if i was there or not – but as soon as i say i have something to offer them that no boss, or money, or vacation, or big buffed-up truck to give them – there is a breaking that takes place not on the external but the internal – not a shattering where they burst into tears or wale at the top of there lungs – but its a sense of urgency that they have never had before – and once they realize that they are feeling an urge that they have never felt before for something they have never urged for – I begin to urge for them – (its like a big URGE fest) – there is an automatic connection between my soul and his – and since my soul is in direct connect with the Spirit of God he feels a void or emptiness that i dont have – and that same feeling is what made him ask the question –

Why?
